How to Manifest

Welcome to Manifestation 101:

First of all you already are manifesting with the words that you speak and how you interact with yourself and others and your everyday actions. What you put out into the universe you receive, everything and everyone in your surroundings is a mirror of you.

1. Manifesting should be easy 

Manifesting should be easy, if you are frustrated about your manifestation not coming in, and feeling desperate for it to come, it’s not going to come. You have to accept your current situation, be grateful for what this season of your life has taught you up until now and be in the flow. Once you are in the vibration that meets the next level of your life, then that is when your manifestation will come in.

Right before I was offered my job, I remember having a really good day at my part-time job, I remember saying, “if every day is just like today, then I would be perfectly fine.” After months of desperately looking for a full-time job, I finally detached and within a few days my current job reached out to me!

2. Everyone manifests differently 

While you are already manifesting just by living life, there are manifestation exercises and practices that you can implement to bring your manifestations in faster. Visualizing, scripting, affirmations, vision boards the 3,6,9 method, listening to music, there are SO many exercises that you can try. I recommend affirmations and scripting. I post daily affirmations on @vibrayvida on Instagram, check them out! Scripting is also great, you write out your dream scenario in the present tense, my biggest tip is to write out how you would feel once you have your manifestation. What would you see, feel, hear, touch once you have it? This exercise is a powerful one, read it and visualize it, then let it go.

3. What type of manifestor are you?

You could be a specific manifestor or a non-specific manifestor. I only recently learned about this and I am still learning as I practice my manifestation strategies but I’ll give you an example. 

Non-specific: I welcome and I am so grateful for the opportunity of owning a blue car.

Specific: I am so grateful I am the owner of a 2021 Blue Ford Mustang EcoBoost Convertible with a leather interior and a rearview camera and intelligent access with Push-button Start.

I have tried manifesting both ways, my human design chart tells me I am a specific manifestor, but I just interchange depending on what I am currently manifesting. Remember to say, “this or something better,” after every manifestation.

4. What is blocking your manifestations?

If you are doing your manifestation exercises, visualizing, you feel grateful for your current moment, you feel in the flow, but still, that one thing is not coming towards you yet it’s time to find out what your limiting beliefs are. This takes some work and paying attention to those icky emotions that you usually try to ignore. If something causes a trigger in your body or has a shock factor for you, then it’s probably a limiting belief. 

For months I was not able to see what I was scripting in my reality. Daily affirmations were making me feel really good and I felt a difference in my mood and mindset but I was really trying to manifest a whole new life over here. I was also not addressing the deep-rooted issues within me. 

I had deep trauma regarding being worthy and deserving of receiving what I wanted. I always approached gratitude from a place of “there are people out there with nothing and I should be grateful I have at least something,” the problem is that I was approaching this from a place of guilt. I felt guilty for having what I needed like food/family/home/health while there were other people facing hunger and death. I felt immense guilt and I experienced anger with myself for wanting any more than only the things I truly needed. I also had a HUGE limiting belief around money like many people do, and that is something I will be discussing in a future blog post.
